H.R. 339: Federal Overreach Undermines Local Control
22 February 2025 | Zero5G.com | FACT: wireless radiation is pollution that is not insurable.
H.R. 339, the industry-friendly “Broadband Resiliency and Flexible Investment Act,” proposes federal regulation that attempts to undermine State and local control over wireless infrastructure. If passed, the measures would impose a 60 day timeframe approval, impose limits on pre-application requirements, and provides for US district court action to enforce the provisions. Call (202) 225-6565 or email Congressman Dan Crenshaw (dan.crenshaw@mail.house.gov) to tell him to withdraw H.R. 339, the Broadband Resiliency and Flexible Investment Act.

‘‘a State or local government or instrumentality thereof may not deny, and shall approve—
‘‘(A) any eligible facilities request for a modification of an existing wireless tower, base station, or eligible support structure that does not substantially change the physical dimensions of such wireless tower, base station, or eligible support structure; and
‘‘(B) any eligible telecommunications facilities request for a modification of an existing telecommunications service facility in or on eligible support infrastructure that does not substantially change the physical dimensions of such facility.’’
