I oppose AB 965 and AB 1065 and I ask the Senator to vote NO.
These bills prioritize Inferior Wireless over Superior Fiber Optics and will not close the digital divide.
AB 965 – This batching gives unrealistic timelines and excessive financial burdens to local governments.
AB 1065 – Both the CPUC and the NTIA are clear that Fiber is superior to Wireless and they prioritize the State and Federal Funds to go Fiber Optic installation.
